Screening of ‘Phyto’ by Kim Conway, a form of “reality” cinema, without a plot or storyline. Plant matter from The Sunken Garden is placed onto photographic film emulsion and exposed under the sun. As the flowers and leaves react with the emulsion, the internal structures of the plant matter are revealed, and we witness a micro-inner world. Played back, the plants of the Sunken Garden are the actors; animated, ambiguous, fleeting.
