Stories from a simpler time. A medley of rarely told folktales of tyrannical ogres, magic bird's hearts and very, very fat cats.
Nominated artists: Lawrence Abu Hamdan, Helen Cammock, Oscar Murillo, Tai Shani. Four of the most exciting artists working right now are shortlisted to win the prize based on an outstanding exhibition that has taken place in the previous year.
Join us for a performative re-enactment of some of Margate’s local legends.
Music by Christian Ferry. Film screening of KOMMA HEM. Live music performances by Swedish Canadian folk singer ANNA and Welsh glam rock punk band Telgate.
With no specific start and finish, the SLiDE dancers and musician will weave through Margate sharing playful chapters of improvised movement, which you are invited to name.
