Garden-to-garden walk with Sara Trillo

Accompanying Sara Trillo’s installation The Hortorium, is a walk from Dent-de-Lion villa in Garlinge to the Sunken Garden in Westbrook, which imagines a historical link between the latter and the vanished garden that once surrounded the medieval Dent-de-Lion gatehouse. Sculptural and textile elements drawn from the artist’s installation are used as processional objects for the walk, which not only conjoins a fecund garden space with a lost one, but also celebrates the role of the gardener.
