The Sunken Garden Party
The Sunken Garden Party is an informal, promenade event, which aims to deliver flower power to the people by bringing plants to life through information and humour. Encouraged by guest coordinator, writer and comedian Trevor Neal, and supported by artist organiser Jemma Cullen, local participants perform spontaneous, improvised presentations, in and around the Sunken Garden, sharing imagined thoughts and feelings of featured plants. Throughout the party, there will be a soundtrack to this hubbub in the shrub hub, with a playlist which promises to be pure heavy petal.
This event is part of First Friday.
