International Observe the Moon Night: The Monkton Stargazers
The event is a worldwide celebration of lunar science and exploration. We will use telescopes to observe the Moon which is in a good phase for observation. We will celebrate the cultural and personal connections we all have with our nearest neighbour. Also we will be able to see the rings of Saturn and the moons of Jupiter.
